Slugging - is it good or not

Tip for glowing skin = slugging. Slugging in skincare routine: Slugging refers to a process of sealing your skin with an occlusive product mainly containing petroleum jelly, overnight. This treatment has got very popular for aiding in glowing skin and also helping in locking the hydration of skin and wake up with dewy glow. Slugging is done as the last step of skincare routine to seal in all the good products that has been applied before. Many dermatologists in tiktok also approved this technique and many said that it actually works. I tried slugging for a few days but I couldn't continue with it as it was hard to sleep with a face full of gel as it doesn't get absorbed. If you are interested in slugging these are the products that you can use👇 What's your verdict on slugging? Is slugging required in Skincare routine? Have you tried it? Did it work for you? Or will you try it?

I never gonna try on my oily skin or I will wake up with clogged pores 🤣... but I not saying that slugging is bad ... dry skin will get so many benefits from it 😉

I really like the idea of slugging, totally wish I could do it but my skin would most likely break out from the occlusive layer. I don’t think it’s required, but definitely beneficial for those with dry skin and damaged barriers.

I currently slug with the CeraVe healing ointment. I do have oily skin in the summer but in the winter I have combination so it really helps then with locking in the moisture. I don’t wake up too oily since I’ve been doing it. It also helps me because I am a side sleeper so I use to wake up with really dry cheeks. I love it so far!

🥺 too bad.. but it's better not to try something and then regret. better to leave skin as it is and use products which your skin loves 🙂❤️
