Spironolactone Experience?

Hi everyone! I’ve been on spironolactone for my acne for almost 2 weeks now and wanted to know if anyone wanted to share their experience. Since starting spironolactone, I have been experiencing a lot of cystic/under the skin breakouts around my chin and temple area, and wanted to know if anyone had the same reaction! I currently have 5 red and painful under the skin spots on my chin — it has never been this bad, even when on my period.I was prescribed this by my dermatologist to target my hormonal breakouts and know that it takes time to work. I just don’t know if this “purge” or initial breakout is normal!
