Rosacea and retinol

Hello everyone. I am 23 years old with combo skin type and i have mild rosacea, only redness. I've noticed that i have fine lines on my forehead and that my skin is aging faster. So we all know the benefits of retinol. Can you give me some advice on this? How to start or should i start? And i am open for some products recommendation

from what i had read, dehydration can accelerate skin aging and makes your lines to be more apparent. So, before venturing into retinol, you should make sure your skin is hydrated by incorporating lots of water-based products. since you have no major skin problems and has rosacea, you might wanna take retinol very carefully since it can cause purging, breakout or even make your rosacea worse. you should start with the lowest retinol percentage, and start building your skin tolerance by using it once a week, before slowly increasing your usage. And you could use sandwich method ( moisturizer - retinol - moisturizer ) to combat the side effects. Also, you should reapply your sunscreen, and try to avoid chemical exfoliation when using retinol in one routine.
