My Skincare Journey with Epiduo

Hello, everyone! I hope you are safe and away from the virus. I would like to share something which some of you have already have an experience with Epiduo. It's already 2 monthsever since I have used this. Before the pandemic began, I have pimples around my chin area only and then lockdown happened. My face becomes a home for bacteria and in result of my pimples. I had a bad sleeping and eating habit. I'm really frustrated at one point that I began feeling down about my appearance. Whenever someone pinpoints my pimple like I didn't know what's in my face is super hard to encounter for me because we have customers in our store and couldn't wear mask because it'll aggravate it more but we have a protective plastic so we will not catch covid. Moving on, this June 2021, I decided to consult to a dermatologist. It was a great decision for me that I have made. My experience with Epiduo is super good. I didn't experience purging which I'm really thankful for but even before starting Epiduo I already felt like I was on the purging stage. On the first day up to my 7th day of using Epiduo, I didn't feel any sting or itchiness but it's very drying so I followed it up with a moisturizer. After some time, if I feel it's stinging my face, I apply the sadlndwich method which is moisturizer-epiduo-moisturizer. Alongside with this, I intake Doxycycline. My tips when using Epiduo is to be patient. Apply Epiduo thinly once a day at night. Pea sized amount for the whole face is enough (not spot treatment) You may undergo purging stage but that's alright it's normal. Don't be so hard on yourself. Acne treatment is not instant. Do not forget to wear sunscreen to avoid irritation from the medication and further darkening of the spots on the face. Do noooot scratch or squeeze the skin lesions to avoid irritation. Please do consult to a dermatologist beforehand using this medication. Do not self medicate because it may worsen your skin. Again, let's be patient and trust our dermatologist and the process itself. ๐Ÿ’— Here's my routine: AM - Glycolix soap (to help w dark spots and brightening) - Moisturizer - SPF PM - Cetaphil - EPIDUO - Moisturizer Here's my skin progress. Please don't screenshot my pic and post it on other accs. I'm still not that confident but I'm sharing it here because you guys are my safe space :))) stay safe everyone. We're all in this together!๐Ÿ’—

I love your progress and the way you described your journey! As you said it's very important to be patient! That Also applies to every skincare routine you are currently having. Results wont happen over night and another point you made, dont be so hard on yourself! I love the message you tried to send into this world. Keep on being Consistent and patient. Lots of Love ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ’•
