dampen your lips, and while damp, you could apply a drop of hyaluronic acid serum, followed by your lip balm, and then vaseline!

Try applying a light gel or something to hydrate your lips first, then use the heavier stuff to seal it in.

if you don't have a Hyaluronic acid serum, that's fine! you could use a drop your fav facial oil (preferably rosehip, make sure it's a nourishing facial oil), followed by your lip balm and then vaseline.
