Niacinamide cleanser and serum?

Hi! I’ve been using the cerave foaming cleanser for a while now and my skin likes it, but i really wanted to add a niacinamide serum, one that doesn’t have a high percentage. I’m thinking about buying the discoloration correcting serum from good molecules. It has 4% niacinamide so do you think it’s safe to use? I also saw the niacinamide toner also from good molecules, which one do you prefer?
