yesss i used to use them so much when i was younger and it was so satisfying seeing my blackheads come out! i’ve stopped now bc people were saying it basically contains glue and that’s what is pulling your blackheads and hair out! i use bha too and it’s very effective 😊

I have used a few pore strips back in the day but they actually never worked for me because they didn’t work strong enough to give me a visible effect since i really had horrible blackheads back then, so i have stopped using them before i even knew that they weren’t the best method to take care of the pores. As for peel off masks, i’ve never used them, not even once, and I don’t intend to start now 😅

I could never make nose strips work for me and I'd never like peel off masks.
I find clay masks much more effective

oh whoops! misunderstood your question! i think peel off masks are similar to pore strips and heard its also not great for the skin bc of glue/adhesive so i’ve stopped those too! also yes to oil cleansing!

Picky has a great article about nose strips right now and tells you who should use them who shouldn’t use them and how to use them. I was always told not to use them because they cause so much damage. But apparently I have the appropriate skin type for them. I do use peel off masks about once a month with my husband. We make a night of it. I put on a light moisturizer before hand for ones that take a bit to peel off. My favorite two are the Hey Honey Take away the drama peel off mask and the Hey Honey Take of off Exfoliating Honey Peel off mask.
