beginner to cosrx

I have used the cosrx aha bha toner before. I used it on a daily basis and switched to another product because I feel like I’m not seeing any results. Recently, I found out it’s actually an exfoliator 😳🤭. I poured few drops on a cotton and wiped it a cross my face. I did soak cotton pad with it and let it sit on my face for few minutes. Did I use it in a wrong way? How do I use it as an exfoliator? Please help 😳😳
