You should go with AHA. This has glycolic and lactic acid

For you? AHA because it’s better for dry skin. It’s water soluble and helps hydrate the skin. AHA works quite well for lightening dark spots too. A low percentage BHA can work but you have to see if it will dry out your skin or not. I use these in my routine. Cosrx One Step pad is presoaked so I would use it almost everyday, it can dry out my face if I am not careful. It’s the middle strength of BHA in the COSRX range. Pixi Glow Tonic is a 5% glycolic acid, it does sting the first times I use it because glycolic acid is the most penetrative AHA but now it just feels nice. I ran out of Cosrx and intend to finish Pixi Glow Tonic. So far I feel my face is a bit more moisturized than using BHA.
