Foreo and devices are they needed?

Hello guys, I was wondering if do we really need devices like foreo or xiaomi in face. I have some friends who love them but I never see any of my favorite skincare influences talk about it. I think they might be too much for the skin but I don't know. Do you guys have and use it?

I own both Foreo brush and Xiaomi InFace. Honestly, I do not use Foreo brush since I got Fofo version and it's not really useful, I got other brush but I barely ever use it. I got a friend who's using LumiSpa like it's her new religion - once or twice a day and all my esthetician friends are chatting behind her back how her skin is always red and how she wears Estee Lauder foundation which is a high coverage, heavy formula so it doesn't show. I have InFace and I use ultrasound peel, but the ions doesn't work as they should - usually ions are to help an active substance go deeper, so the way inface is translated to use in my country has almost no sense, since to make ions go deep, you are supposed to know if substance has + or - value, and none of the non-esthetician/non-professional brands mention that on the product. Also ultrasounds when used in a wrong way can even broke a bone - not right now, but it's related to wave theory & physics - it's called wave interference, and even if interference is used in some medical procedures, in this case it can cause damage (not instantly, but after some time). Also, some people forget that ultrasounds have to be used with water or ultrasound gel (gel is for sonophoresis treatment, sadly InFace has only ultrasound peel aka cavitation peeling). If you use it without water - it can leave some red marks. I wouldn't listen to influencers if it comes to devices, usually they do not know any basics about this topic, I used to go to med school where we had to take both - esthetician & physiotherapy classes, and the things that I learned about ultrasounds and currents from estheticians and physiotherapist weren't always the same, I even felt like majority of estheticians base they knowledge on what companies tell them instead of learning basics aka physics and how everything in such devices work.

I don't have foreo, although sometimes there is a desire to try. But I don't think my skin really needs foreo. I have sensitive skin, so I cut down on rubbing my face a lot. But if you feel your skin needs foreo, just buy it.

I bought the foreo 2 years ago and used it for awhile. I personally did not notice any difference while using it, so I stopped and is now sitting in my drawer. My personal advice is: save your money for skincare!

I don't think they are necessary! I have a device similar to the foreo, but then I ended up not using it very much 😅
