Dry/Resilient

Best way to hydrate?

So I'm pretty sure I have dry and dehydrated acne prone skin. At the moment I'm just using the Cerave Moisturising Lotion, but I want to add a hydrator into my routine alongside that. I've looked into it but I'm still not sure what kind of product to use and when to use it in my skincare routine? Like should I use a hydrating toner, or should I just use a hyaluronic acid serum before moisturiser, or I've also seen The Ordinary Amino acids + B5 but I don't know what part of my skincare routine I'd use it in 😭 There are so many types of products out there and I'm completely lost even after doing research, help! (I also intend to use the Eucerin Aquaphor Healing Ointment at night if that makes a difference to what other products I should use)

try to introduce a hydrating toner and then follow it up with an essence or a nice serum and then seal the moisture with a moisturizer. Here are some suggestions:

I think a hydrating toner before moisturizer is a good option. This one has 7 types (older version is 5 types) of HA and is recommended for dry skin:

I would suggest layer with hydrating toner then while skin is damp/ wet go in with Hyaluronic acid serum. Then sealing it in with aquaphor. If that doesnt solve the dryness, you can then add the TO amino acid + B5 after the HA serum and before the aquaphor

You can incorporate a hydrating toner then your hyaluronic serum then moisturizer. That's if you're not in a dry environment

try this one, its one of ma hollygrail, this toner helps to hydrate and calm my sensitive and acne prone skin. While the face oil serum cures the pimple. Or you can simply use centella ampoule which is most people holygrail.
