Azelaic acid vs Differin (adapalene)

Does anyone have any references/info about using these products together? I’m currently using differin and liking it. I’ve been using it for a while and my sensitive skin has not had issues with it. I’m very hesitant to add things to my routine. I have not been able to find any information on combining these products. I’ve been wanting to try azelaic acid because it’s not only good for acne but redness as well. I’d love to get information references from dermatologists if possible 😄😃
