Oily/Resilient

Azelaic acid fights bacteria, soothes irritation, reduces inflammation, pain and swelling, treats rosacea and melasma, and fades hyperpigmentation. AzA is antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and anti-keratinizing which means it loosens keratin plugs or dead skin cells that block the pores. What it’s not is a chemical exfoliator. I would not say that it’s a substitute for an exfoliator either. Exfoliators are formulated at a low pH while AzA is formulated at a pH similar to the skin’s pH so it is less irritating. However, it might cause dryness and slight tingling if you’re not used to it. AzA is safe to use twice a day even by those with sensitive skin and during pregnancy. To be safe, you might want to drop the AzA when you use the peel but it is perfectly fine to use them together. It just depends on your skin tolerance.

It is a very very gentle chemical exfoliator 😉

I got this from google !! 😇😇 There's no reason you can't use an AHA or BHA exfoliant along with an azelaic acid product. In fact, this combination can be ideal for addressing the look of multiple skin concerns, from bumps to uneven skin tone to age-related concerns you may be struggling with.☺️☺️

You can but I would be a little careful. I suggest doing a patch test first and then see how your skin reacts to it. If you experience any burning or stinging then you should avoid it. If your skin feels normal then it should be fine! ❤️
