Maybe you can slowly reduce the usage of your prescription and use moisturiser that target for very dry skin (patch test with your skin first)

Yeah, retinol can be very drying.
You should use a moisturizer that contain ceramide and hyaluronic acid.Maybe it will help you and also it good for dry skin and dehydrated.

Well, I have the same content as you. I don’t use it everyday. Even if I use it, I moisturize my skin before and after applying this. And next day, I use highly hydrating products.

hmm maybe you can apply a thinner layer? i know the recommended is a pea size but i use a rice grain size amt and it doesnt dry out my skin. i heard that using a moisturizer with vitamin e helps too! personally tried using the klairs vitamin e mask + moisturiser , before applying my retinoid (adapalene) and my skin wasnt drying!

If it's drying out your skin you could try to use it in between 2 layers of moisturizer or on top of your moisturizer to minimize the risk of dryness, this should not make the product les effective but will deliver the ingredients in a more gentle way💙😊
