I have a very sensitive/acne-prone/oily skin type so you can infer that I have a combination skin type. This skin type is very hard to have since we basically need to find the right products that can work for our skin. In my experience, when I was first starting out on skin care, I used many products that a lot of people recommends on the social media. Since I am very acne-prone, I tried many products that basically targets acne. Over the years, I learned that washing your face frequently can irritate more your skin. So now I only wash my face twice a day. I only wash my face the third time if I do activities that I sweat a lot or includes dust. I also use skin care products that are not harsh to the skin. I used products with Centella asiatica and tea tree. This two products really helped my skin a lot. When it comes to cleansers, my holy grails are from CosRx Low pH Gel Cleanser and Salicylic Daily Cleanser. For over the years and still using it, it really gave my skin a time out on breakouts. Currently, I am using the Rovectin brand and I can say that my skin is never been better. I can only give my advice based on my experience, wash your face twice and imply “Less is more.”
