Can I put vitamin c serum on my under eyes?

I’m currently using Dear Klairs freshly juiced vitamin drop on my morning routine. I noticed that it really made my skin brighter but I always skip the under eyes part when putting the serum because I’m afraid that it is too harsh for my under eyes area and will make my under eyes darker.
