Ruruberry Gentle Fresh Cleansing Gel

I received this product for free from Picky and Ruruberry in exchange for my honest review~ ⭐Ruruberry Gentle Fresh Cleansing⭐ - cruelty free - fragrance free (there is still a small hint of sweet smell in the cleanser which I personally don't mind & I love the scent) - PAO is 12 months 🔅Skin type: Combination & sensitive (oily at T zone, normal at cheeks, below the eyes & around the nose are dry & rough) 🔅Claims: A low pH, hydrating gel cleanser that removes daily impurities, sunscreen & makeup while boosting skin moisture. 🔅Texture: Gel-like but when you rub it around your hand it will still produce some foam, not too much but just right. A little watery when I pour it out so do be careful to not pour out too much. Easy to wash off. 🔅Experience: ❌At first there was no burning or any kind of irritation, but when used continuously, the area below my eyes started to burn & sting after I cleanse. When I started using other products in my routine, it sting at the same area where as it have never sting & burn before when I use these products for the past few months. ⭕I'm very sad as I am unable to continue to use this because I like this cleanser a lot. It doesn't strip my face, it doesn't feel tight, it cleansed very well. When it said it boost & lock the skin moisture, it wasn't kidding! My nose area doesn't feel dry & there was no flaky after I cleansed! 🔅Conclusion: This cleanser is very gentle & might be formulated for any skin type, even sensitive skin & damaged skin barrier skin are able to use it. But if your skin is very sensitive/skin barrier severely damaged/currently avoiding any harsh ingredient, this might not be for you as it has citric acid inside (one of exfoliant under AHA) & it can caused burning to inflamed skin. 🔅Rate: 3 out of 5 ❗What works for me might not work for you. What doesn't work for me might work wonder for you❗

Aiiii, it sounds perfect for sensitive skin, Sam! If your skin barrier is damaged, let it heal & then use this cleanser? You're right to avoid harsh ingredients, in the meantime.

Oh no, Sam 🥺 Hey, my skin barrier was compromised earlier this year. My skin was taut & peeling. I used this cream & my skin barrier healed in less than 2 weeks! My eldest son has eczema. I've got him using this cream after shower twice daily. His eczema is under control & no more flare-ups! Perhaps you may wish to consider it.. or other creams with ceramide in them.
