Did the derma prescribe him with topical ointment or skin care products to remove his hyperpigmentation?

Hyperpigmentation is a very broad term. Best helpers would be retinoids, chemical exfoliants, alpha arbutin, niacinamide, lots of moisturise and hydration. Also, daily spf to prevent it getting worse

But it's not healing and so my little brother is very stressed
