used to think like this but I think I could just clean the sunstick surface right after application and before applicating. anything that stays on the top of the sunstick should've been gone, no?

i see.. and may i know how do you clean the surface? i read somewhere to use gentle makeup wipes, but i'm not so sure if it's okay to use that ๐

Yes but I think its much better than not applying at all, but whenever I use heavy make up, the sunstick is like turning out to other color and I have to wipe the top of it ๐

that's what i've been thinking.. the makeup will ruin the surface of the stick so i guess it's not suitable to reapply on top of our makeup with sunstick? thank you for sharing๐ฅฐ๐

I have been waiting for someone to talk about this, this is the only reason why I havenโt purchased a sunstick yet to directly rub it on my face again and again makes me a bit icky.

true.. and even if i clean the surface using any wipes, i'm afraid that any wipes wont be clean enough to clean the surface too? or am i being too overthinking ๐

i thought the same, but i actually like it and its sooo easy to apply. it doesnt pick up my cream or looks/feel dirty. like other have mentioned, you can just wipe it with a tissue or just on the back of your hand. Its much easier to use it when u re-apply during the day and cant find a restroom to wash your hand.
