Redness is mostly due to irritation that can caused by many things. Some caused by the skin reaction to exfoliating products, too much heat under the sun and inflammation. Everyone’s skin is different, some people have sensitive skin concerns like eczema, eryhtema, psoriosis and many others that all can contribute to redness due to certain skin reactions to certain triggers. Centella is known to calm them down(even though not in all cases). In some severe cases, topical products don’t really give much of a result derms have to prescribed oral medication.

Hi, Redness is subjective because anything can cause it, irritation, abrasions, or skin problems like, Rosacea which I have. Cica/Centella Asiatica products help my redness, niacinamide. Plus there are never dumb questions, not everyone knows everything.💙
