retinol has been amazing for me and I’m more oily/combo skin so I use a creamy formula to make sure there’s no irritation. since getting back into a routine and using this about once a week I haven’t experienced any new breakouts. the strength is around 0.3% retinol if it’s too moisturizing and you need to find a comparable one. make sure it’s at night then you use sunscreen the next day!

Ingreidents such as azelaic acid, tranexamic acid, alpha arbutin, retinol, kojic acid are good for dark spots. Sunscreen is also important! Retinol is also good for acne as well as azelaic acid. For acne, benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid face washes are great for breakouts. Also double cleansing works great for getting everything out of your pores and breaking down sunscreen.
