Did you happen to add in a new product recently into your routine? Cuz that happen to me too. All products that I'm using, have been used for few months & nothing happen. When I used a new product, not only that product make my face burn, it cause my face burn again when I use my other old products, it's like it burn along. So when I stopped using the product, everything went back to normal.

your skin barrier is compromised. what products are you using? are you exfoliating too much? did you add too many new products at once?

It could be your SPF. Sometime people can develop sensitivity to chemical sunscreens over time, particularly if they are prone to sensitivity already. Otherwise, are you exfoliating more than usual? Either physical or chemical?

I experienced something in reverse yesterday as I was eating a pomegranate after having applied retinoid to my face - that was not a good idea 😅 the skin around my lips went bright red and burnt like hell!
So just in case there's a possibility, think what else was touching your face recently.
