Yes, Azelaic Acid is even recommended for rosacea and sensitive skin, but evert skin is different. Some people don't tolerate azelaic acid, in this case it's good to go for PHA. Also, the concentration of azelaic acid is important. Azelaic Acid helps with pigmentation and post-acne scars.

It’s very good to improve skin texture. It helps control hyperpigmentation and it also prevents acne. It’s very mild exfoliant. My skin can’t tolerate it though.
