PIH: what can we do?

PIH is a type if hyperpigmentation that is derived from the excess production of melanin (in a simpler way: its the redness u get after an inflammation, such as a pimple in general, or worse, popping it). How can we treat it? recommend a few ingredients people can aim and if u want tag some products!

Arbutin, vitamin c, niacinamide will all help. Wearing spf daily is crucial to prevent them from getting darker and more from forming. Chemical peels help out the most in my experience

There are many ingredients which we can try - Vitamin C (especially SAP & MAP) - Arbutin - Kojic Acid - Azelaic Acid - Niacinamide (especially with Vit C) - Retinoids - Licorice Root Extract - N-acetylglucosamine - Soy - Tiamidol In general, lots of people in Poland recommend using Nivea Cellular Luminous 630 since it's based on Tiamidol and Eucerin Anti-Pigment Serum. Also, PIE is related to post-acne inflammation, not PIH, PIE after picking pimples, etc should be treated differently - Vitamin C, Green Tea Extract (especially EGCG), Caffeine
