Professional care for home use

Hi Beauties, As this is a month of many online deals I just wanted to share my opinion about devices and product used in professional environment like salon, clinic ect and the one sold for use at home. So I have been beauty therapist for the past 10 years and once in a while some trend pops up and soon or later brands start to sell home version. From IPL home devices to dermarollers, peels, dermabrasion andore recently masks using specifical light to aid all in your life. Many will safe and wait for sales -Black Friday especially to get better price but is this really a good deal? I really don't think so In order for me to do beauty I needed qualifications. Moreover I worked in East Europe and when I moved to UK 7 years ago, I had to do everything once again - so different countries have different learning plans. Anyways- in order for any professional to perform treatment, we need qualifications for the type - say lazer and on the top we go on training for the specific brand or machine we are using. So there is no way that any decent company will sell to untrained and unsupervised person same strength machine to use at home. If something goes wrong their liability and insurance will be insane. So just like IPL at home, same as light therapy masks can't be the same for home use and I extremely doubt that the expenses are worth it. Settings are specific, safety guards, training -it all makes treatment efficient but also dangerous or safe. If your machine is not strong enough because of safety as home care then you wil eather see no difference or you have to be super , super persistent and may be eventually will work. Professional care is very expensive, machines are rather big and heavy, maintenance is expensive so for me personally spending hundreds on mask is bad idea

Thank you for this discussion ❣️ Prices are attractive during sales but if the devices aren't of good/high quality, it defeats the purpose. Regardless of how regularly we use the devices.
