i recommend you lactic acid cause it's more suitable for dry or dehydrated skin and mandelic acid for oily, acne-prone skin.

Both are good against texture! I used the Lactic acid one and it isnt to strong for my sensitive skin. If you havent used an exfoliant before and are unsure I would start with the mandelic acid.

broke as in you broke out or you broke the bottle? If 10% is too strong, I would buy the mandelic Acid just to be sure. And if your skin can handle it than I would try the 10% again that you have (I guess)

If you're used to acids, or have used acids before I would go for Lactic Acid. If not, I would start with mandelic since it's the most gentle of the two. I've used mandelic Acid before, it is really gentle (I have combo skin) and it really helped with my texture. Both are a great option if you want to tackle your texture.
Alpha Arbutin wont do much concerning your texture, I would use that in the morning for the glow and hyperpigmentation.
hope this Helps 🤗💕
