Ampoules vs Serums?

Hey everyone! Kinda new to skincare and I’ve seen ampoules mentioned and I wanted to know, what are they? They seem to be grouped with serums most of the time but I couldn’t find a post going over what they are exactly. Thank you!

ampoule is like super serum they are more concentrated than serum,but it doesnt mean Ampoule is always better than serum (the quality is depends on the product too),actually when im buying like serum or Ampoule i didnt really care either its ampoule or serum they’re pretty much the same,and just like marketing tricks
