actually exfoliating the skin can help with PIE, just use gentle products and 2 to 3 times a week is more than enough.

Post-inflammatory erythema, similar to PIH (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation) but instead of dark pigmentation from acne it’s lighter, pink red marks. It’s more common in paler skin tones.
