To be honest, I do not know why brands go for 10 or 20% niacinamide when there's no research on higher amount of niacinamide on skin. We only know that 4-5% niacinamide gives the best results, especially if it comes to pigmentation. For me, as an esthetician, brands who want to create pro line but do stuff like "add more actives, they will stand it" are big no - it makes them look like a π€‘.

omg that's exactly what's going on in my head like I really like some of their products, but even the normal line of their products can be irritating to me. I can't even imagine how irritating the "pro" line would be to me and other people π£π£ Idk what I should think about them now π€

Using the word "Pro" and associating it with higher percentages of actives sounds like a great marketing strategy to make people pay more for potential skin irritation without greater results than when using the probably cheaper, non-pro line π€

It worries me that people will think a higher percentage is better! π Already I worry a bit with some of their actives combinations, but to have them extra strong for no real reason sounds like a recipe for major irritation. I like what Iβve tried from this brand but definitely donβt want anything to do with this new line
