Dry/Resilient
RETINOID is an umbrella term for all Vitamin A.
Retinol is part of the Retinoid cascade.
In order of strength (strongest to weakest)
Tazarotine
tretinoin
Retinal
Retinol
Retinol Palmitate
Retinol esters.
As you go higher up the cascade it gets more effective BUT irritation is also higher and some are unable to tolerate them. Higher dose not equate effectivity.
As for need, ill ask back, whats your skin concern first?

Dry/Sensitive
My main concern is acne but as I have been using differin for a few months my face is slowly starting to get clearer. My second concern would be anti-aging. I’m currently in my mid 20’s and I would like to introduce anti-aging products in my routine for preventative measures in the future.
