UV index 🌞 and sunscreen

Should I put on sunscreen when going outside if the UV index is 0-1 all day long where I live? I read that I don't necessarily need any sunscreen if the UVI is below 3. I use 2 apps to check it every day before I leave.

Personally, I apply & reapply sunscreen πŸ”† only when UV index is above 2.

When there is zero UV, I apply SPF zero 😊 I would apply SPF if the UV index is 2 or above.

I live in gloomy city so I don’t really apply sunscreen that much on cold season. I do apply when the UV index is above 2

Indoors I don't when it's 1 or lower. Outdoors I do when it's 1 or above. Some people will say to apply it all the time no matter what, others judge by the actual conditions on the day. You can't achieve 100% protection regardless, so it's your choice how extra careful you want to be. The exposure on low UV days would be minimal to none.
