It's scent is earthy-herbal scent which I didn't love, but is tolerable. In my 3 weeks usage, I did not experience having breakouts, nor tiny bumps. However, it didn't made such significant effect on my face such as "calming" because I really had high hopes on this one - from the product description. I used this during am and pm after putting serum. It does have slight cooling or soothing effect when applied, also easy to spread, not sticky, and absorbed by the skin. I believe it aids on my redness, but it is not overnight. It takes a week to see slight changes. After all, this ampoule is not bad nor too good to put a magic on your redness. It is just fairly great, improves skin condition in a given time. Worth to try!
