Do you wear sunscreen on a rainy day?

Do you wear sunscreen on a rainy day? My country is entering the rainy season now, do I have to keep using my sunscreen? And how many SPF do I need?

I’ll be the weirdo and say I go by the UV index. where I live it’s normally between 0-2 most of the year so unless I’m actually going outside, I don’t bother. 🤷🏻‍♀️

You're not a weirdo, you're well informed! I said this many times before - the whole mantra of 'wear your sunscreen 24/7' thing started in the pandemic - just as the sunscreen sales dipped because everyone stayed at home.

Yes. If you are particularly staying home for most of the time, SPF 30 should be enough I guess. I myself use SPF 50 and reapply once at midday coz that is what I have and I still use sunscreen even tho it is rainy can be out of habit. There is just something off when I don't use it as I always use it.

Yes I do. However, on days like this, I try to use those with lower SPF or reapply less
