Yes, it is. Since it has quite similar structure with what our skin produces, it is suitable for any skin types. Though it won't help with either acne or eczema.

Persoanlly, squalene is the one product that has seriously changed my skin it is amazing- it’s definitely helped with healing acne scarring, as well as helping to prevent breakouts themselves. Bioassance has some amazing squalene based skin care products that have become my holy grails!

I find squalene oil great for most skin types. Try to use a plant-based squalene. However, you should always patch test as you never knoe if you might be sensitive to either the active or other derivatives in the oil mixture.
