Differin application

I have very sensitive skin and just started on differin 0.1%. So far i put on la roche posay cicaplast balm and then differin over the top, but i cant feel the differin doing anything even with a thin layer of cicaplast. I'm wondering if the cicaplast balm makes such a good seal that the differin isnt able to penetrate my skin? Should i apply the differin first and then the LRP cicaplast balm? Thank you picky community!! <3

With very sensitive skin, keep using the sandwich method…cicaplast, differin and cicaplast…you wouldn’t want to know what happens if you don’t… Using the sandwich method doesn’t reduce the efficacy of the Adapalene so do not worry…it’s definitely working and will take 3 months for you to see results without the side effects of redness and flakey and peeling skin with a damaged skin barrier The differin will still work as it’s oil soluble and can penetrate the layer of cicaplast

the balm might be too thick, you can try the other way around. i use differin first and then a layer of the lipikar lotion ☺️
