Special Day Routines

Happy New Year everyone! May you all find your holy grail products and have beautiful skin. After all the holiday festivities, I was wondering if anyone else have a different routine for special days or weeks where it’s full makeup/long days/lots of fun drinkies... Or do you stick to your current routine? I find myself skipping layering steps and reaching for heavy moisturizers as a shortcut / compensation.
