i always use my vitamin c as my last serum step. but yeah i follow the consistency step—lightest to heaviest, and most of the vit c i’ve used are serum consistency. and i don’t really use thick toners

Generally after toner, bc toner usually has watery texture.
If you use ascorbic acid serum, i suggest use them first, bc what i know ascorbic acid only work at low PH (i think about 2 to 3+)
