IMO olay retinol is good for beginner user.
Oya, when you use retinol, please use them slowly. Use them with low percentage first, but more important patch test first before use them
And in a morning, dont forget to use sunscreen

Dry/Resilient
@gratemum the reason for using sunscreen is not that retinol would make skin prone to sun damage (it doesnt). but its retinol itself that is sensitive to sunlight. anyways, with or without retinol in your routine, using sunscreen is very important ✌️

Oily/Resilient
i’m starting to learn oily skin is a blessing. Retinol was so harsh for me as a teen but I feel like oily skin is protected more against irritation. I use prescription retinal though, I’m sure nonprescription is much gentler these days. good luck on your journey!
