Makeup wipes vs. Cleansing Balms

Makeup wipes make you tug on and rub the skin, that’s why they are harsh. I’m obviously a fan of preservatives in cosmetics, but makeup wipes need a ton of them to stay fresh in a constantly wet enviroment. They are also not that effective in removing makeup. And hey are ✨terrible✨ for the enviroment. I have only used one pack of makeup wipes when i was like 16 and i have not looked back since. I like makeup balms much better as they are more effective, gentler on the skin and better for the enviroment. Even tho i prefer cleansing oils to balms, balms are still miles ahead of wipes. I prefer makeup wipes if I'm on a rush because we can bring it anywhere we go, but if you're just at home, use cleansing balms so you can wash it properly. Some makeup wipes are harsh because of the material used, but there are available ones that are not like Purederm.

i would go for cleansing balm 😂 as it's more smooth to my skin . Face wipes are harsh on the skin because they contain strong , drying chemicals that strip the skin of its natural oils , altering the delicate pH of your acid mantle , which can cause inflammation and irritation ;) this is the best from the besst :

Make-up wipes. I don't like sticky feeling on my skin while using cleansing balm.
