Layering moisturizer

You can definitely do that. I apply a moisturizer and then a facial oil which I like better than applying 2 different moisturizers but the choice is yours

I mean why not? Layering products has always been recommended for extra hydration and moisture.

Yes! Sometimes when I feel really dehydrated, I layer one thinner and one thicker moisturizer.

Yea, sure! A lightweight one first & then a thicker one!

I don't think that's a problem, maybe just try different one together. i like to layer emulsion that i sometime use as moisturizer with a thicker moisturizer at night.
