Hey hun, welcome to Picky 🤗
I follow skincare enthusiasts James Welsh and Susan Yara. Both have said wipes are harsh on our skin & don't do a proper clean.

thank you! I will have to start following them! I do feel like make up wipes do not leave my skin feeling as clean as a cleanser, but make up wipes remove make up the easiest in my opinion and are more convenient. maybe there’s a good cleanser wipe out there? 🤔

No, absolutely not. They should only be used in emergency or when you don't have access to water etc.
They don't actually clean your skin, just move things around on the surface.
If you wear make up/waterproof spf, always double cleanse with cleansing balm/micellar water and a face wash.

I’m not going to lie… I used to just use makeup wipes and it really damaged my face and caused irritation. Because I have dry skin, it was a game changer for me to include a hydrating cleanser to my routine.
I also stopped using wipes because of its environmental impact and prefer to use a cleansing balm and do a double cleanse 🥰

thanks for the recommendation!! I do think the wipes irritate my skin as it my face will be a little red after use. I’ll have to get out of the habit of using wipes!! they just are easier.
