Lotion or Toner?

it is not a toner, it is an hydrating essence. I consider essences to be almost the same as serums tbh. you can use this one before your moisturizer or before your sunscreen when skipping your moisturizer.

Japanese skincare, as far as I know, named toner as lotion, even from its function, lotion is used as a preparation for the skin to receive other skincare products, it's the same as toner, but this product isn't toner this is essence same as ampoule or serum but more lightly, because the texture is more light than serum i use it after toner before serum or ampoule

lotion is probably another name for toner
