Could you share what else you've been using?
Have you been using the exfoliant in the pm or am routine and do you wear sunscreen? Have you ever used chemical exfoliants before?

I also think its the fault of PanOxyl because 0.1% acids cannot be doing that. To be completely sure Id say drop panoxyl and the aha bha toner for a week and just focus on skin barrier, how to properly hydrate your face and maybe some spot treatmeant.

You’re not supposed to use PanOxyl with any actives like BHA/AHA/vitamin C/ retinol etc. I used to use this toner too and I over exfoliated and it gave me acne and made my skin really itchy and broke my skin barrier. What I did was stopped using any actives for about 1-2 months and my skin barrier healed completely and my acne wasn’t that bad anymore. P.S : My redness and acne was actually caused by over exfoliation from this toner. Also, only exfoliate at night and also do it 2-3 times a week.
