Besides synthetic alcohols, I believe it is not permissible if it is extracted from grapes or dates.
I think it is best to ask professional experts or ustaz regarding the halal and haram ingredients in skincare and cosmetic.
But when in doubt in using a particular product, it is best to avoid it or find alternatives ❤️

Agree with you! Some of these people are not Muslim so they don't know that much but...

Nope, it's haram! Don't use it! But if you hesitated, it's best to avoid it!

Im still using it. If your concern is on alcohol, there are lots of skincare that has alcohol on its ingredient list. Healthcare use it for wiping lots of things aswell. I believe its only haram if you use it orally.

That's synthetic alcohol. Synthetic alcohol and alcohol extracted from grapes or any kinds of fruits are different. In this case, it contains wine extract which is extracted from fruits which is haram to use or involve with.

I wanted to ask. You don't eat pork and drink alcohol right? But is it fine if you put it on your skin? Because you don't digest it. Might be a dumb question.

You're right, muslims aren't allowed to consume pork and alcohol because it is prohibited in Islam. They are considered as impure.
Therefore as skincare/cosmetic ingredients, if a product contains impure substances, we aren't allowed to use it.
Sorry if this isn't the best explanation ❤️
