What are the do's and dont's in using retinoid while on the beach?

Do I need to stop my retinoid prior beach vacation? And when to resume it?

no you don't have to - epiduo is a combination of adapalene and BPO, and adapalene is generally a well tolerated retinoid. make sure you are reapplying spf only if u feel your skin barrier is damaged, or if you skin feels irritated, stop using epiduo, if not its safe to continue during your vacay! also enjoy ur vacation ❤️happy 4 ya

There's no need to stop in my opinion, just use a sunscreen with sufficient spf to protect the skin after using retinol and try to reapply as often as possible, this is done, to avoid sunburn after using retinol, because usually the skin will be more sensitive to sunlight, right?

If you only use it at night and always a good layer of sunscreen and reapply every 2 hours, and also finding other method to protect you from the sun (shade, hat, sunglasses), you should be fine
