Milia caused by eye cream

Hi everyone! I just want to know if anyone here experienced the same thing, I tried adding an eye cream (Innisfree Green Tea Seed Eye Cream) in my night routine and a few weeks later I noticed that I have a few milia on my under eye area, 2 on the left and one on the right to be exact. Does this mean that I don't need to use an eye cream? Or can you guys recommend an eye cream that is light and will work for my skin type? TIA! xx Paula ♥️

I also experienced the same thing as you when using this product, I don't think it's because you don't need eye cream but the product isn't suitable for your skin, because when I changed other eyecream products I didn't experience the same thing, I think this cream is too thick, greasy and stuffy that's why it can cause milia

Milia can disappear but it takes quite a while, in my opinion the recommendations are the same, use your daily skincare, such as doing double cleansing, regular exfoliating, and good hydration, for the active ingredients I'm not sure which active ingredients work for milia because I am use a lot of active ingredients such as aha, bha, retinol, hyaluronic, peptide, cica etc

I agree with the other comments here. Might be too heavy for your skin. I've used these two eye creams. They're both pretty nice with lightweight creamy formulations

I am very prone to milia, so while I haven't experienced this particular product, I know that too occlusive moisturizers or eye products will result in milia. I personally don't use eye creams. I use at home devices like the NIRA Laser and just use toners and serums and chemical exfoliation (not too close to the eye, product will spread there through absorption like marker on paper).

it might not be suitable for you. I struggled with the same. One eyecream that really fixes it all for me is this one from LRP, can highly recommend it if you want an eyecream in your routine.
