Vitamin A in Korean Skincare?

Hi Beauties, I am aware about EU and UK regulations about the quantity of the different forms of Vitamin A in skincare products BUT Korean regulations are very different. For ingredients like Salicylic acid here the limit is 2% while in K- Beauty products is a maximum of 0,5%. So I am pretty certain the regulations for Vit A will be different. I am looking into Retinol and Retinal products ( I haven't seen any Granactive Retinoids in Asian products). These are the forms I am looking for ( personally Retinyl Palmitate I find useless πŸ™„πŸ˜‰) I can't find any information about Vit A forms in Korean Skincare - what is allowed and how much is the limit as concentrations. Does anyone know? Of course I will be grateful for tesled and loved product suggestions πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’• Thank you

Innisfree just contains a tiny amount of Retinol, looks like 0.0005% Retinol, which is literally meaningless. Instead, try the following products:

yes, in order to be on the safe side and answer on the demand brands create products but I find this "concentration" just a joke

There have been quite a few retinol and retinal products in kbeauty recently. Most of them however have been on the low concentration side like the Innisfree one and some use retinyl palmitate like Tiam. Their retinal products seem more promising though

the retinal concentration is OK, quite normal actually - 500ppm = 0.05%. Additionally, the Scinic also contains bakuchiol 500ppm and retinol 0.01ppm = 0.000001% πŸ˜‚ We can basically ignore the retinol here and just focus on retinal 🀣

Korean skincare seen like not really like provoke skincare productπŸ˜‚ But this 2 yrs retinol is quite a 'hot' topic in skincare, more and more brands trying to make retinol products. I recommend to look at Amore Pacific's brands (they putting a lot of effect in research & come out supporting journals) Only few retinal/retinol product I know. For retinol, Innisfree retinol cica, around 0.01~0.015 retinol, with a lots of soothing ingredients. Iope 0.1% retinol expert AHC Youth focus essence is with 0.05% retinal. Amore Pacific had came out journals comparing same % retinol vc retinal and how they works on human skin (but the journals look like sponsored hmm)

i got the innisfree cica one, that one contains 0,015% the potions also has a retinol one.. that one is 0.03%. and the dr. different one is 0.01% (not completely sure). idk know what the limit is for retinol in korean skincare, curious too πŸ€” but I think there are all kinda low.. so I think its great if youre a retinol beginner.

yes , my thoughts too but I love Asian skincare . In my opinion quality -price they are pretty great and I was hoping for something stronger - however nobody seems to know the limit and many brands don't disclose the quantity of these actives
