redness around nose

so, i have this redness around the sides of my nostrils, it’s been there for so many years and i can’t find anything online about it. it doesn’t hurt or anything but it makes me so insecure and i desperately need to know what it is and how i can treat it.

I have it too! My derm said it's Seborrheic dermatitis. Seborrheic dermatitis is a common skin condition that mainly affects your scalp. It causes scaly patches, red skin and stubborn dandruff. Seborrheic dermatitis can also affect oily areas of the body, such as the face, sides of the nose, eyebrows, ears, eyelids and chest.

I heard it could be seborrheic dermatitis. Dandruff shampo might work for it. It is a bit weird to use it, but dan some foam when you wash your hair on that part of the skin. I have dandruff shampoos that has salicylic acid, which means chemical exfolliants with it may also work. It’s worth a shot
