The soon jung 2x barrier cream is very nice. If you are looking for something thicker, then Illiyoon or Cerave creams could do the job. Also, since you are oily, you could think about putting an emulsion/lotion underneath a moisturizer if you donβt want something overly heavy and occlusive as you final moisturizer. Adding an oil on top might help as well π₯°

Annaya has given you great choices.
Find a moisturizer that contains ceramides, fatty acids and cholesterol. I live the Fist Aid Beauty but that might be too heavy for you.
Consider adding a peptide serum, as those will also help you getting a great skin barrier and handling the irritation that comes with retinol.

I'm currently on 0.025% of tret and on some days I wake up to a very sensitive skin π
stingy to the touch kind with red patches. Illiyoon's gel moisturizer has been helping a lot! One of the few moisturizers I have that doesn't sting my skin and I have noticed that my skin generally looks and feels healthier since I've used it. I've been reaching for it more but a close second would be L'Essential's!

Try this! It is the one thing that calms my angry retinoid skin, lol. Also I like to use the laneige sleeping pack on the days I don't use retinoids.

Use something soothing like panthenol cream. The LRP one always been raved by tretinoin users so you might want to check it out.
