Salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide.

Hi I’ve been using benzoyl peroxide for over 4-5 weeks for my acne and it has been showing some results. I’ve have the Paula choice 2% bha solution and I want to use it in the mornings. But is salicylic acid safe to use every day in the morning?

Everyday is a bit of an overkill since it's 2% salicylic acid. 2-4 times a week should be more than enough, especially if you're using it together with benzoyl peroxide. You can use BHA in the mornings if you can't fit it in your night routine, but just be sure to wear sunscreen

simple answer, yes but if you use it once, maybe it’s better to not overdo it, but that’s just my opinion

i wouldn’t recommend using daily & during morning either. i think it’s better to use pm & pls don’t overdo with exfoliant. every other day or 2/3x times a day is the sweet spot. skin takes time to improve dear ☺️

I use salicylic acid everyday but as a cleanser, I'm not sure you should use this exfoliant everyday. If you want to use it everyday maybe you should look for an otherway like cleanser, toner, serum ... 😊
